A stone façade and a lit entrance
The hotel occupies a stone-clad building in Hocapaşa. The glazed entrance is lit from within, and the gold sign is the only marker you need to look for.

The Hotel
01
The hotel occupies a stone-clad building in Hocapaşa. The glazed entrance is lit from within, and the gold sign is the only marker you need to look for.
02
We meet you in a brick-walled lobby. Airport transfers, tour and ticket bookings, currency exchange, luggage storage: all from the same desk. We speak Turkish, English and Russian.
03
A room at the very top, glazed on three sides. The Golden Horn opens out from there, with the Galata hillside opposite.
Rooms
They do not resemble each other, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. One is warm and material; the other is neutral, with its colour arriving in the fabric.
01
Fifteen square metres built around a single queen bed. The walls are coarse plaster, the floor is oak, and black steel carries the bed and the shelving. The botanical mural behind the headboard is the only pattern in the room. A skylight brings the daylight in from above. The bathroom is private, with a shower.
02
Sixteen square metres and a single queen bed. Grey paint and white lacquer set a neutral base, and the colour arrives in the fabric rather than the walls: mustard curtains, a buttoned headboard, olive armchairs. A skylight brings the daylight in from above. The bathroom is private, with a shower.
