This notice explains how your personal data is handled when you visit sayebangoldhotel.com and when you use the Hotel's services. It is published to meet our duty to inform under article 10 of Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698.
By using this website and asking for the services offered through it, you accept the terms set out here.
This English text is provided for convenience. These documents are governed by Turkish law and the Turkish version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
Who is responsible for your data

What we collect
Through the contact form on this website: your name, your email address and the content of your message. The form asks for nothing else.
When you contact us by telephone or email: your contact details and the content of the correspondence.
When you make a reservation and stay with us: your name, your contact details, the dates of your stay, payment information, and the identity or passport details we are required to record under Identity Notification Law no. 1774.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking tools running on it, and nothing profiles visitor behaviour. That is why you are not asked for cookie consent here.
The pages are served as static files. Beyond the technical records our hosting provider keeps for security and operation, no record identifying visitors is created on our side.
Why we process it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, to set up your reservation and to provide the accommodation service: on the basis of article 5/2-c of Law no. 6698, processing necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract.
To meet our obligations on identity notification, invoicing and record keeping: on the basis of article 5/2-ç, compliance with a legal obligation.
To follow up requests and complaints and to keep the quality of our service: on the basis of article 5/2-f, our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
We do not send commercial electronic messages without your consent, and we do not use your data to build marketing profiles.
Who else sees it
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to the Hotel's own email address through our email infrastructure provider, Resend. That provider's servers are located abroad, and the transfer is made within the framework of the provisions of Law no. 6698 on transfers abroad.
Reservations are handled through our reservation provider, HotelRunner, and through the online booking platforms we work with. Where you book through one of those platforms, that platform's own privacy policy also applies.
Personal data is disclosed to public authorities only where legislation requires it and upon a request made in due form.
Apart from this, your data is not shared with third parties, not sold, and not transferred for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Personal data is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was processed for, and for the retention periods required by the applicable legislation, such as tax legislation and Law no. 1774. Once those periods expire the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
How we protect it
We take the technical and administrative measures needed to provide an appropriate level of security, to prevent unlawful processing and access, and to keep the data safe. The whole site is served over HTTPS.
No payment is taken through our website. The site never asks for credit card details and never stores them.
Even with these measures, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
Your rights
Under article 11 of Law no. 6698 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad; to ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or incorrect; to ask for it to be erased or destroyed where the reasons for processing no longer apply; to ask that these corrections and erasures be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to; to object to a result against you produced by analysing the data solely through automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage suffered because of unlawful processing.
To use these rights, write to us at info@sayebangoldhotel.com or send a written request to the address above. Requests are answered within thirty days at the latest, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
